Hello Karine,

I hope you are well!

I took your training course “Making videos for the web with Kdenlive editing software” on 9, 10 and 11 September, and I am writing to you at the end of the year to give you some feedback (as promised) and ask you a question.

Even though I don’t use Kdenlive regularly yet and am therefore not familiar with all its features, the training and the software have been very useful to me over the last few months!

First of all, on a personal note, I made a “mash-up” video of performances by my alter ego, La Metis. This video was presented at the Parcours d’Artistes in Etterbeek in October. The challenge was to bring together videos captured at different times to create a coherent montage in smartphone format.

If you have any feedback or suggestions for improvement, I’d love to hear them! I’d like to show it again at an exhibition planned for June 2025.

I also made an interview-style video for the last general meeting of our non-profit organisation. I interviewed one of our members to present her analytical work in 10 minutes, illustrating her comments without directly filming her research. Again, your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

All in all, the training has been invaluable and has already enabled me to carry out several internal and external projects for the non-profit organisation. Thank you very much for your support and for restoring my confidence in my skills!

I wish you a great day,

S.R.
